Russia, Ukraine, EU to discuss gas issues on July 17 in Berlin
MOSCOW, Jul 5 (PRIME) -- Russia, Ukraine, and the E.U. will meet to discuss gas issues on July 17 in Berlin, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on Thursday.
“It will happen on (July) 17 in Berlin,” he said.
Currently, the countries are discussing the agenda and composition of participants, officials hold consultations, he said.
In June, Ukrainian news agency UNIAN reported that Kiev wants to discuss conditions for the transit of Russian natural gas via Ukraine after the current contract with gas giant Gazprom expires, which is to happen at the end of 2019.
